Introducing the Tulip.

Get better brews by turning your AeroPress®* into a siphon brewer.

How does the Tulip work?

Essentially, the Tulip operates the AeroPress in reverse. Brewing takes place in the Tulip cup, and coffee is drawn under vacuum through any standard metal filter into the AeroPress chamber. You get all the benefits of siphon brewing without the complexity of glass and open flame. See the short video below.

Why does the Tulip work?

Many people find that the Tulip consistently brews an exceptionally clear, fruitier and less bitter cup, much like a siphon. We believe this comes down to several factors:

What it looks like in the cup

The Tulip uses a vacuum to form a bed of coffee grounds that acts as a natural filter. This traps more fines, while oils stay near the surface instead of ending up in your cup. The result is a noticeably clearer brew: visually lighter, cleaner tasting, and without the sharp acidity often found in fuller-body methods.
